Sinar infra merah merupakan cahaya yang tidak tampak. Sehingga pada software terminal (atau bias juga diganti dengan outputan lain, seperti motor DC atau LED) akan tertera tampilan yang merupakan outputan dari sensor penerima televisi.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"&gt;&lt;span  lang="ES" style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;            &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;Semakin besar intensitas infra merah yang diterima maka sinyal pulsa listrik yang dihasilkan akan baik, jika sinyal infra merah yang diterima intensitasnya lemah maka infra merah tersebut harus mempunyai pengumpul cahaya (light collector) yang cukup baik dan sinyal pulsa yang dihasilkan oleh sensor infra merah ini harus dikuatkan.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;            &lt;/span&gt;Oleh karena itu, dalam proyek ini, kami menggunakan IC555 sebagai pengatur frekuensi pulsa agar intensitas infra merah yang diterima semakin baik. Sehingga, semakin tinggi intensitas infra merah yang dihasilkan maka semakin jauh jarak transmisi datanya.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;            &lt;/span&gt;Dalam penerimaan infra merah, sinyal ini merupakan sinyal infra merah yang termodulasi.
